Information on the recognition of secondary education

Secondary school leaving certificates gained abroad are subject to "nostrification". If you have certificates issued abroad and wish to enroll at our university (or any in the Czech Republic), you are required to obtain an official document confirming that your certificate is recognised in the Czech Republic. As this process ("nostrification") can take several months, it is recommended that applicants submit this paperwork concurrently with their application. Applicants without this official recognition are not permitted to enrol at the University. Please contact the South Moravian Regional Authority (contact person: Ing. Bc. Information on the recognition of Foreign Higher Education and Qualifications

All students with foreign degrees (except as set out below) must submit their Bachelor's degree for official recognition by the Czech Republic's Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. As this process ("nostrification") can take several months, it is recommended that applicants submit this paperwork concurrently with their application. Applicants without this official recognition are not permitted to enrol at the University.
